Tidal Raves Seafood Grill: Reviews & Ratings
Tidal Raves has the fastest and friendliest service statewide. Chef perfectly displays the flavors of the coastal delights with a worldly flavor. The green curry was bright. The local cod special was cozy. The desserts were filling. Cocktails delish. Overall the fast service and view with culinary expertise gives - 6 stars!!!
Awesome gem located only 18 minutes from Lincoln city!my husband and I are gluten free, and we were looking for some gf fish and chips and came across this place. First of all, the atmosphere is lovely, with a full wall of windows looking out onto the ocean. The sunset was amazing. We were seated at a small bar area looking toward the ocean. The food is healthy, with lots of gluten free options, and so many delicious menu items. Everything is quite reasonably priced, and coming from Portland, we got so much more food for our dollar than similar seafood restaurants there. I ordered the crusted rockfish, and it was so good! And the portions are very large. My husband ordered the lingcod fish and chips, and it was also very tasty, flaky, crunchy...we will absolutely be back. We can't believe we didn't know this place was here before! The atmosphere was nice, and even though it was busy, it wasn't too loud. Highly recommend to anyone who is gluten free or who loves seafood and steak!
Best fish tacos I’ve ever had and you get three large ones! I have eaten a lot of fish tacos in my life. For research. For science. For community engagement. For personal growth. But these? Best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Full stop. So good I returned in the same week like some kind of taco stalker pretending I “just happened to be in the neighborhood again.” No shame. Let’s talk about the real headline: masa battered. Not flour. Not some sad gluten-dusted compromise. MASA. As in crispy, golden, Baja-style perfection that shatters just right when you bite into it. If you’re gluten-free and have been wandering the earth searching for a legit Baja-style fish taco that doesn’t taste like a substitute teacher version of the real thing… this is the unicorn. The glittering, mythical, “I-can’t-believe-this-is-gluten-free” unicorn of fish tacos. The fish is flaky. The batter is crisp. And whatever you do—whatever you think you know about restraint—get the aioli.** You have to.** It’s not optional. It’s a must. The aioli takes it from “wow” to “I may need a moment alone with these tacos.”
We made reservations and were seated at a window table with gorgeous views of the water and beach. The service was outstanding and we received our food quickly. I had ciopino, a generous portion of a large variety of fresh seafood in a richly flavored tomato broth. My husband couldn't even finish his Pasta Rave, fresh seafood cloaked in Alfredo sauce with Parmesan cheese. My sister had the same, adding a house salad that was delicately flavored with curry coated almonds, dried cranberries and a light vinaigrette. For dessert we shared a strawberry rhubarb cobbler with vanilla bean ice cream that was just delicious.
Some people say restaurants with a view dont have good food, this may be the exception. Come in mid afternoon before the pm sun streams in the wrap around window impacting the view. Charming hostess, professional waitress, the Crab Louis was fresh and tasty, the pickles and house made dressing made the dish. View from the dining room is one of the best on the Pacific Coast.
The best seafood in a long time. They must have a high class chef. Service was excellent, from Bethany. She was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable( suggested afew things)and helpful. It's almost like an hidden gem. If you like seafood, must visit. Thank you to the management for having such a great team.
I had the pleasure to experience Tidal Raves on my extended bestie weekend. I called prior to arriving to see if they had bottle service which they do for $20 corkage fee and provided an ice bath for our champagne. I knew what I wanted: steamed clams, a warm baguette and a Louie salad. My friend ordered the Diablo pasta raves and we got a plate to split and had it brought in courses, which our sweet and knowledgeable server asked our preferences all along the way. Our table side corkage was a head turner. My resolution for 2026 was to drink more champagne and it never disappoints. Shortly after, our warm baguette and steamers arrived. They did not disappoint. Buttery, garlicky, and the perfect flavor. We greatly enjoyed them and the broth as a sop for the remaining broth until our salad and entree arrived. Pictured below is the combo Louie and the Pasta Rave Diablo. I like my Louie’s to be heavy on the horseradish and you must ask for a side of horseradish. Some places don’t do this, but I highly recommend. The amount of Dungeness and bay shrimps was perfect. I came for the beach and got it. My only request would be less ketchup in the 1000 dressing, but that is a minor correction. Now the Diablo sauce was the best I have had. It was well seasoned and the perfect portion. I also had a funny request to get a chicken tender to try with our champagne (recommended by a sommelier a few weeks ago) and our server was happy to oblige. The atmosphere was romantic and cozy. I look forward to my next visit to try some other menu items. We did get desserts to go and my friend chose the key lime. She said it was what she was looking for and it tickled her senses. My creme brûlée was more than what I was looking for. So good Now, when reading reviews I saw people say it was pricey and I disagree. I thought for the experience, quality, and vibe this was very affordable fine dining. If you are looking for an experience I highly recommend Tidal Raves if you are in the area. (make an online reservation, we showed up and were put on a waitlist so we could have missed out!)
Let me start by saying the front of house staff is kind, friendly and helpful, great crew. The kitchen staff definitely fires on all cylinders and put out amazing food, some of the best I’ve eaten. The view from our window table was unparalleled. My wife and I shared the Lingcod Fish n Chips which is breaded like nothing I’ve eaten before. The batter is light, crispy, crunchy, and not grease soaked. The flavor of the fish itself was untouched by the batter or oil it was cooked in(zero acre oil). The fries were season and super good, also not greasy. We also shared an order of the Crab Meatballs and an order of the Thai Shrimp Cakes. Both were amazing, perfectly prepared and presented. We finished off with the Key Lime Pie. I would like to purchase a whole pie and take it home, really the Chefs kiss at the end. We spent, with tip, a glass of beer and wine, around $125, totally worth it. Go. Eat their food. Enjoy their kindness. Love the view.
